Healthcare Review & Consulting, Inc (HRC) was formulated in 2005 by Dr. Taylor and Dr. DeVita in response to the needs noted while serving the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Chiropractic Board of Examiners and overseeing all licensed Chiropractors. Being involved in fraud case reviews, disciplinary hearings, continuing education of the doctors and handling complaints from insurers, consumers and law firms, they noted a disparity of needs between cost-effective and evidence based quality care rendered in an ethical manner that met professional standards. Often times there were conflicts based on opinionated care. HRC was formed to provide expert, experienced consulting to meet these needs and bring the payers, providers and legal profession together through evidence based care reviews.
All reviewers are fully trained and experienced in utilization of documented current clinical evidence, published "Best Practices", state licensing statutes & regulations, federal compliance regulations, and accepted community standards to assess the appropriateness of care.
